Derek Flowers leads the Value of Care Coalition, focused on defining value in healthcare by those who know – patients and clinicians. Working on issues related to value, access and innovation, the Value of Care Coalition serves as a platform for health care stakeholders to engage in state level policy discussions. With twenty years of experience in advocacy, Derek is a graduate of Iowa State University and lives in Maryland with his wife, Alex, and their five-year-old twins.
