Patient Advocate
Michael Donnelly-Boylen is Associate Dean of Strategy & External Relations at Roger Williams University School of Law and a nationally recognized advocate for obesity care and patient access. Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, he works to advance policies that improve access to evidence-based obesity treatments, including GLP-1 medications.
Michael serves on the Obesity Action Coalition’s Access to Care Committee and the American Diabetes Association’s Obesity and Weight Management Advisory Group. He also co-hosts Weight & Measure, a discussion series that brings together patients, clinicians, researchers, and advocates to address barriers to obesity care and long-term treatment access.
